SAAS - Service d'Automatique et Analyse des Systèmes

Biography

Sajad Azizi received his B.Sc. degree in 2008 and his M.Sc. degree in 2011 both in Aerospace Engineering (Flight Mechanics and Control) from the Tehran Polytechnique University (Amirkabir University of Technology). In 2017 he was granted his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Signals and Systems) in the concentration area of Control, Automation, and Robotics from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Belo Horizonte, Brazil. During his Ph.D. he focused on the investigation of novel robust control techniques for non-linear systems with control input saturation and subject to parametric uncertainties. In 2018 Dr. Azizi joined Control Design and System Analysis Department at Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Brussels, Belgium, in the capacity of Postdoctoral Research Fellow. He then continued his research on the generalization of the Explicit Reference Governor (ERG) control technique for non-linear systems. Since July 2019 he has been working as an associate R&D Engineer in the Automotive and Railway industries in Belgium.
