Biography

Nicolas Bono Rossello received the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering in 2017 from the Universidad Politècnica de València, Spain. Since December 2017, he has been a Ph.D. student at the Department of Control Engineering and System Analysis at Université Libre De Bruxelles, Belgium. In 2019, he was awarded with the Young Author Award at the 6th IFAC Agricontrol conference. His research interests include path planning, monitoring planning and state estimation.
Since January 2023 he is a Postdoctoral researcher in Digital and Information Management at the University of Namur, Belgium.

Research Activities

Smart Testing and Selective Quarantine. 2020 – 2022

This project aims at defining smart policies for the selection of the individuals that must be tested during an epidemic with the goal of maximizing the effectiveness of selective quarantine measures.

Project PANTHEON. 2018-2021

H2020 project PANTHEON EU project focuses on the development of a new architecture for precision agriculture for large-scale hazelnut orchards. The research project aims at developing a new Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the precision farming of hazelnut orchards.
