Biography

LAURENT CATOIRE received his Master degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Belgium, in 1997. Since then, he has been a member of the Department of Control Engineering and System Analysis at the ULB.
Since 2016, he also holds the position of technical director at the Ecole polytechnique de Bruxelles.

Research Activities

His interests are mainly the design and the control of pilot scale processes for teaching and research purposes, the monitoring and control of processes, and projectbased learning.
