Biography

Johnny Leung received a M.Sc. degree in Electromechanical Engineering in 2014 from the Université libre de Bruxelles. At the same university, he received in 2020 a PhD degree in Engineering Sciences for his thesis entitled “Model Reduction and Simplification for Dynamic Grid Security Studies”. This work was carried out in close collaboration with Elia, the transmission system operator in Belgium. It was funded by The Brussels Institute for Research and Innovation (INNOVIRIS) of the Brussels Region through the Applied PHD grant
